Project Overview

Two new lifts delivered without interrupting live rail or commuters.

The Mittagong Station upgrade and commuter carpark is part of the NSW Government initiative to improve accessibility within the Transport Access Program (TAP) by delivering accessible, modern, safe, and integrated transport infrastructure.

DAMCON was awarded the FRP concrete package and successfully worked near pedestrian traffic and live rail conditions without interrupting live rail and commuters.

Scope of Works

Station Works

  • Lift 1 base, pit, shaft and landing
  • Lift 2 base, pit, shaft and landing
  • Platform level entry slabs for Lift 1 and Lift 2
  • Scaffolding for Lift 1 and Lift 2
  • Pavements, ramps, kerb and gutter
  • All concrete quality as per RMS QA specification B80
